  • Working alongside a team to map safety standards and expectations for rail systems in Spain and the EU. Communicating in English and Spanish to ensure common understanding of safety standards across all stakeholders.

  • Selected for prestigious 8-week intensive biomedical engineering program in Uganda. Collaborated with Duke and Ugandan engineering students and local medical teams to determine requirements and areas of improvement in Kampala’s public, low-resource, regional hospitals. Created a multi-probe temperature monitor and display which records the current, high, and low temperatures of up to three babies in a shared incubator, under an $80 budget using only locally sourced supplies.

  • Recruited and integrated 50 new volunteers in addition to $200,000 in funding for 36 individuals with disabilities within a year to expand the organization and increase collaboration with several national space agencies. Crafted an individually tailored seating chart to accommodate each person’s disabilities and cultivated a detailed flight schedule outlining the order of parabolic movement in the flight. Implemented and affixed 12 groundbreaking disability research projects, devised by the flyers, onto an aircraft, culminating in a zero-gravity flight in Boston, MA
